So begins my longest day of the year.

I am sitting here at 6:14am and in exactly 24 hrs I will be on my flight to DC. I am tired, a little sun burnt, and definitely the most excited I have ever been in my life. I just got back from a beautiful weekend with the most important people in my life, besides my family of course and it could not have been any better. The weather was perfect, the company perfect, the cabin, you guessed it, also perfect. Now all I need to do is pack which as of right now is not going great, but I will soldier on. Gear!!!!

One of the cooler parts of preparation is the cool gear I get to buy. I love gear so much and this is an opportunity to get some things I have been putting off. Such as a sweet new camera, one more travel size oriented. Also a new laptop to replace the one that was stolen, and I am waiting for them to come here today and they should be here any minute...It is like Christmas! Oh and another cool part is all the congratulations. Keep them coming people I do not mine one bit, it is nice to be appreciated, and on that note and the horrible structure of this note, tüschss!
